GAA Hurling

Hurling is one of the most popular sports to bet on in Ireland and is older than recorded history, with early adaptations of the game thought to have been played around 3000 years ago. The modern rules were created in 1884 when the Gaelic Athletic Association and GAA still host the biggest hurling competition in the world - the All-Ireland Championship. The tournament contains teams from across Ireland and a team from New York.

At LiveScore Bet we offer a range of hurling betting markets from in-play betting to outright bets on major tournaments including the All-Ireland Championships.

Hurling Betting Markets

We offer a range of betting markets for hurling. If you are new to hurling betting, then it is similar to betting on other sports such as football betting – making it an easy sports bet to understand.

Match Result

This is a market that is offered across most sports. It is a simple bet where the bettor places money on what team they think will win the match. For better odds, multiple-match bets can be combined to create a double, treble, or accumulator.

Handicap Betting

This is another bet that is common amongst other sports betting markets. Within this bet, the bettor chooses a team to give an imaginary points handicap to one team and places money on whether the team can overcome the handicap or not.

For example, if team A is considered the better team and team B is the underdog, then the bettor may place a handicap of –1 point on team A. If team A go on to win the match by more than 2 points then the bettor would win their bet. Alternatively, the bettor could place a positive handicap for team B of +1 and if they get beat by less than 2 points then the bettor would win the bet.

In-Play Hurling Betting

We offer in-play betting on GAA hurling, so anyone can place money on the outcome of the game while following the action. We offer in-play betting on a range of markets including match winner.
